See, I don’t know maybe you have heard of Jumia, I guess you should but if you haven’t: Jumia is a pan-African e-commerce platform that sells any kind of products ranging from home appliances to gadgets and many other physical products

Why do you think they are different and also dominating the e-commerce market in Nigeria?

The answer is very simple, “They understand the art of capturing customer's attention, which sets them apart from the competition.”

We are in a world where our attention is very limited, statistics show that the average attention span of humans had dropped from 12 seconds in 2000 to a mere 8 seconds in 2021.

That means you only have 8 seconds to capture your customer’s attention before they can focus on your message.

Studies showed that “people retained 95% of a message delivered through video, compared to only 10% through text. Moreover, social media platforms reported that video ads generated 1200% more shares than text and image content combined.”
